Technology pillars
Water Engineering
Water Engineering
Greenscale’s use and management of water is central to our objective of delivering differentiated products with enhanced nutritional value.
The combined aquaculture and hydroponics systems will involve disciplined management of nitrogen. Nitrogen comes into the facility through fish feed and is supplied to the plants as nitrate through a combination of biofiltration and aerobic digestion processes.
Check out Greenscale’s most recent article published with Boise Dev highlighting on a system to “recycle the effluent from the recirculating agriculture system, which will be used as fertilizer for hydroponics.”
